I feel so fortunate to be part of the Walker Advertising team - specifically in the call center department. Many people mention diversity, but I also enjoy the diversity of thought. I have grown and honed skills that would not have been possible without my peers and supervisors different viewpoints.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I appreciate that I've never received a raise of just a few cents. I think for the most part I've been given appropriate raises and the bonus is really substantial in my opinion.
What makes you most happy at work?
I'm happy when I see positive changes made to make things even better than they already are. I guess seeing progress is really fulfilling. I like that we're never complacent and there's a constant effort to make things better.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Whenever I have ideas to present in the hopes of improving things, they are always taken seriously and implemented whenever feasible. I like that I am not micro-managed and I do feel that leadership cares about us and genuinely wants to see us thrive.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Even if we disagree, we do so because we want the best for the entire team. The end result tends to be the best scenario we can come up with. I like that we're still effective working remotely because it means that option is still viable.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked that the interviewers were not intimidating, although I was nervous. The interviewers sensed that and helped to reassure me. It is not a drawn out process and generally the response time is fast. It is also fair and as someone who has interviewed we do try to focus on seeing the positives.
