It felt really comfortable, and they conveyed a sense of respect for people (which was later discovered as an illusion).

Engineering manager is the primary reason people stay.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Engineering has great culture of learning and growth. Above the engineering manager, it's a culture of overselling, using engineers as pawns, then patting each other on the back.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Insperity is used as the basis for salaries but Insperity pays 35% below national average. Anecdotal evidence suggests that original offers were extremely lowball offers.
