What corporate social responsibility programs does your company support?

Farmers Insurance® is committed to giving back and making a difference in the communities in which we live and work. As Farmers® strives to maintain a high standard of responsible corporate citizenship, one of the major ways we seek to serve our communities is through philanthropic efforts focused on disaster resilience. Working with leading nonprofits and other community organizations, we help communities plan and prepare for natural disasters and recover in the aftermath. Some of the organizations we work with include SBP, Team Rubicon, and Smart Home America that share our values and vision for community engagement.

Why is it important for your company to do this?

For more than 90 years, Farmers® has helped serve individuals and families during times of crisis. Supporting communities impacted by disaster is a core component of Farmers’ business and community efforts, which is why we are proud to work with organizations that promote preparedness and foster resiliency to help build stronger communities.

Data for Good Program: We really want to make a difference in the world… we’re passionate about it. Technology is core to everything we do, and our partnerships with those who can use it to benefit others gives us a deep sense of satisfaction and purpose. And while technology and data solutions can revolutionize the way we address social issues, they are often unattainable for nonprofits due to high costs and the need for specialist employees. By partnering with organizations, our people have been able help transform the way we help those in need by doing what we do best. An example of this is the ADAM Program, developed by LexisNexis Risk Solutions employees, to distribute over 1.7m alerts a year for missing children on behalf of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Nearly 190 children in the US have been recovered by the ADAM program since 2000.

Why is it important for your company to do this?
