Cybersecurity is the biggest threat companies are facing, now more than ever, because of the ever-changing landscape of attacks on employees over email to steal money, credentials, sensitive data or confidential information. We solve complex problems every day using the most cutting-edge technologies to create security products that stop targeted email attacks such as business email compromise, zero-day credential phishing, payroll fraud, vendor fraud, and other threats that get past legacy controls such as Secure Email Gateways. We are the first to have brought natural language understanding, artificial intelligence, and other deep learning techniques to make emails more secure. We do this through the implementation of highly scalable classifiers and other models leveraging machine learning, deep learning and algorithmic approaches for real world, large scale problems. Our team does this by using advanced Natural Language Understanding (NLU) algorithms that analyze thousands of signals across identity, behavior, and language to protect customers from some of these advanced attacks and resulting compromise. Every month there is a new state-of-the-art algorithm to learn and work with and new threats and scams to adapt to and thwart. The coolest parts of Armorblox’s product and challenges we face is being at the cutting-edge of what is possible with these technologies and shaping them to provide better value to our customers.

Our engineers are focused on one central question: how can we build intelligent technology that makes the digital experience safer for families? At its core, this problem involves understanding the landscape of threats faced by families today with the goal of predicting, preventing, and proactively responding to them. However, it’s not just enough to safeguard against every issue; rather we must do so within a form-factor that is intuitive and easy to navigate. We employ a wide range of capabilities, including machine learning, cloud native development, and cutting-edge front end technologies. The real magic lies in bringing these pieces together not just to solve a problem, but to provide our customers with an experience: the feeling of safety in an increasingly risky digital terrain.
What can talented engineers expect from your company’s culture?
What makes this space so exciting is that the only constant is change. New technologies come into the fold each day – and each new technology expands the surface area of risks our customers can face. More so, threat actors are constantly evolving their techniques. Therefore, our engineers must be life-long learners who are willing to adapt as needed; if we succeed, we not only foster a safer experience for our customers today, but provide them with a continuing sense of safety tomorrow and beyond.
