We offer unique employee-led community grant opportunities in our largest US offices. This grant program is designed so employees drive and manage the philanthropic process. Local employees gather with community partners to discuss needs and select a focus area for the grant, then review and discuss all the grant responses. From there, three organizations are invited to our office to present their program, and all employees vote to award $15000 in grants and participate in volunteer service. Through this important program, we bring philanthropy into the workplace and encourage all employees to build strong relationships with community organizations.

Our giving is globally inclusive and locally focused, supporting organizations and communities around the globe through financial contributions and donation-matching campaigns in times of crisis and by inspiring and empowering our employees (U Krewers) to take advantage of volunteer opportunities with two days of paid time off each year for volunteering. Giving is core to our culture, and we will continue to use our platforms and resources to help others. Every day, UKG and our U Krewers support our local communities (and one another) through a variety of philanthropic programs. Below are only a few examples of the many ways we’ve positively impacted our people and our communities:

  • Global Pay It Forward Day: To celebrate Global Pay It Forward Day, a worldwide celebration of kindness that takes place annually on April 28, U Krewers from around the world participated in volunteer events or hosted donation drives to support organizations in their communities. In the U.S., U Krewers worked on projects with Rebuilding Together and Habitat for Humanity to paint and landscape two homes in Dania Beach, Florida. In our APAC region, employees donated more than 80 kilograms of non-perishable food items to local food banks. In our EMEA region, U Krewers made both in-person food donations and online contributions to local food banks to support their communities.
  • Support for UKG Employees: Founded during the COVID-19 pandemic, the PeopleInspired Giving Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) that supports U Krewers and their family members by providing financial relief grants during times of crisis. The foundation has distributed more than half a million dollars in grants to U Krewers around the world since 2020.
