At Informatica, we believe that inclusion and a deep sense of belonging drive our innovation. Our company values are our north star and fostering a culture of inclusion is our strategy for living those values to ensure an accepting and safe environment where we all can thrive.

Our Pride Month events are one of the many ways we celebrate, expand awareness, and promote allyship across our global teams. This year, Informatica’s PRIDE Alliance continues its tradition of hosting educational webinars that broaden the perspectives of our colleagues and allies. Our learning event will be focused on LGBTQ+ history where an external speaker will guide us as we explore iconic LGBTQ+ stories from Greenwich Village, World War II resistance heroes, and India’s diverse traditions. These sessions are open to all employees and offer an opportunity to celebrate, reflect, and learn more about the global impact of LGBTQ+ history and culture.

What ongoing policies, benefits, and resources does your organization provide to support LGBTQ+ employees throughout the year? How do you ensure these are inclusive and accessible to all?

Cultivating a sense of belonging is at the heart of how we work and thrive every day. Through the efforts of Informatica’s PRIDE Alliance, we focus on building a community where everyone is welcome and supported—an environment where LGBTQ+ employees and allies feel valued and connected. Given the global and hybrid nature of our team, we prioritize virtual connection through informal discussion groups and fireside chats that invite open conversation, reflection, and community building all year long.

We recognize that the LGBTQ+ community is stronger and more resilient through the presence of allies, and we actively encourage everyone to participate in these conversations. These gatherings are intentionally designed to be welcoming and accessible to all, creating space for employees to step away from their day-to-day responsibilities and get to know each other in a comfortable and fun atmosphere. This is how we bring our company values to life and ensure that Informatica is a place where everyone belongs.

How does your company plan to celebrate and recognize Pride Month in June?

To celebrate Pride Month this June, we’re kicking things off with a company-wide email to all associates. Throughout the month, each week will feature a unique theme, with events and educational content aligned accordingly. Our ERG members will have access to weekly educational topics via our Teams channel, covering why we celebrate Pride and why it takes place in June, the significance of drag culture, the contributions of Black and Queer activists, the shared history of LGBTQ+ and Black activism, and the impact of Queer pop culture. We’re excited to host a company-wide Drag Bingo event open to everyone, as well as a special networking event co-hosted with our Black Collective ERG. Additionally, we’ll be sharing LGBTQ+ volunteer opportunities tailored to each of our markets. To bring the celebration into our offices, we’re providing decorations and giveaway items so each market can host their own Pride Pop-Up event.

What ongoing policies, benefits, and resources does your organization provide to support LGBTQ+ employees throughout the year? How do you ensure these are inclusive and accessible to all?

Our ERG is committed to supporting our community throughout the year by offering a wide range of resources and events. We host informative webinars on topics such as inclusive language, unpacking privilege, and the intersectionality of LGBTQIA+ identities and neurodiversity. In response to current events, we also hold safe space calls to provide members with a supportive environment to share and connect. To assist families, we’ve developed a Parent Resource Guide specifically for parents of LGBTQIA+ children. Additionally, our company offers an LGBTQIA+ Resource Guide that outlines inclusive benefits such as transition planning, hormone therapy, and gender-affirming care, along with helpful information on pronouns, terminology, and interviewing tips. All employees also have access to our Employee Assistance Program for guidance on a wide range of topics. These resources are regularly shared in our Teams channel and through email reminders to ensure everyone stays informed and supported.
