Tech, like many other high-paying industries including finance and engineering, continues to be dominated by men. Recent figures from the U.S. Department of Labor show that women hold just 17% of jobs in software development, but 94% of jobs as secretaries and administrative assistants.
Comparably put together a list of the tech jobs where women have the highest earning potential. The data comes from the anonymous salary records of more than 30,000 Comparably users across the tech sector. The results and methodology are below.

Methodology
The results were compiled from 32,796 Comparably users in job titles that have at least 1,400 overall compensation records on Comparably.
Salaries reflect average total compensation (base salaries plus bonus).
People of all ages, educational backgrounds, ethnicities and experience levels were included.
Employees hail from small, mid-size, and large tech companies (VC-funded, privately-held, and public) to household brands like Amazon, Apple, Google, Facebook, Uber, etc.
Data was collected between March 2016 and February 2018.
