Women appear to be struggling more than men with their work-life balance, according to the latest reading of an ongoing query by Comparably. More than 10,000 people across the technology industry responded to the query.
How it breaks down
Sixty-three percent of women say they are satisfied with their work-life balance, according to the data. That compares with 68% of men.
From a city view
Men and women in Seattle had the highest view of their work-life balance, with 73% saying they are satisfied. San Francisco and Boston were close behind (70% and 69%).
The city with the worst work-life balance was Atlanta, where 62% of people said they are satisfied with their work-life balance.
Job roles with the most satisfaction
People in HR and executive roles were most satisfied with their work-life balance (73% and 72%, respectively). People in legal, communications and customer support were least satisfied (56%, 57%, 59% – respectively).
