Executive Bio

Ms. Leili Ghazi serves as Western Region President of Regional Agribusiness Banking Group at Cobank Acb. Ms. Ghazi is responsible for managing the agribusiness lending operations of CoBank's Western Region, which includes the Sacramento and Spokane banking centers. Ms. Ghazi also manages the Cobank's relationship with Farm Credit associations serving the western United States. Prior to becoming Western Region President, She served as Senior Vice President and Division Manager for CoBank's Agricultural Export Finance Division. She oversaw the bank's international banking and trade finance business in support of U.S. agricultural product exports. Ms. Ghazi also manages the bank's relationship with Farm Credit associations serving the western United States. Her team specializes in serving the needs of Farm Credit associations as well as agricultural cooperatives that process, market, transport and export agricultural commodities. The majority of these customers are in the fruit, nut and vegetable, wine, dairy and livestock industries. She is based in Sacramento and is a member of CoBank's Senior Leadership Team. She joined CoBank in 2010 as a member of the Western Regional Agribusiness Group based in Sacramento. She was responsible for managing relationships with Farm Credit Associations and agricultural cooperatives, primarily in the fruit, nut and vegetable, wine, timber, dairy and livestock industries. She spent 19 years with the Bank of Montreal Group of Companies. She held various positions in corporate and investment banking during her tenor at BMO Capital Markets in both domestic and international capacities, including a five-year assignment in Mexico City, Mexico. She also spent eight years with their food and agribusiness group in San Francisco. Ms. Ghazi earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Political Economy from the University of California at Berkeley, an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a master's in International Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
