Mr. Sergio Horikawa serves as Deputy President of Oki Data Americas, Inc. and served as its President of Oki Data Do Brasil Informatica Ltd. and Senior Vice President of Latin America. Mr. Horikawa served as General Manager of Oki Data do Brasil Informatica Ltda at Oki Data Americas, Inc., since 2003. Mr. Horikawa is responsible for the Brazilian operation of OKI Data Americas, including sales, marketing, finance, human resources, manufacturing, systems and services. OKI Data do Brasil was established in 1997 and began local manufacturing in 1999. Mr. Horikawa joined OKI Data do Brasil in 1998 as Marketing Manager, responsible for strategic planning, communications and brand development. He took over responsibility for Channel Sales in 2001; served as Sales Manager since 2002; and OKI Data do Brasil General Manager since 2003. Mr. Horikawa held management positions in marketing and sales at Hewlett-Packard, Philips Electronics, Apple Computer and IBM. Mr. Horikawa has an engineering degree in Aeronautics from Instituto Tecnologico de Aeronautica, a degree in Electronics from Escola T??cnica Federal de S??o Paulo and a business administration degree from Fundac??o Get??lio Vargas - S??o Paulo.
