Mr. Jay O. Kerley has been the Chief Information Officer of Applied Materials, Inc. since 2010 and also has also been its Group Vice President since July 2013. Mr. Kerley is responsible for providing a long-term technology vision that supports the company's strategies and operating requirements. He leads the Global Information Services (GIS) organization to enable worldwide business solutions and infrastructure that support the company's market needs. Under his executive leadership, he and his teams have been recognized for IT leadership in Computerworld's '100 Best Places to Work in IT' (four years running) and 'Premier 100 IT Leaders,' the InformationWeek'500 and CIO's '100 Business Technology Leaders.' He served as Corporate Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Officer at Applied Materials, Inc. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Nautilus Data Technologies, Inc.
