Chakrabarti has more than 23 years of experience in product strategy, corporate marketing, product management and M&A. Previously, he was the senior vice president of strategy and marketing for exploration and software at Emerson Automation Solutions.
Since beginning his career in 1998, he has worked for multiple leading software and oil and gas companies. Most notably, Chakrabarti joined Paradigm (acquired by Emerson in December 2017) in 2013 as senior vice president of product management and marketing. Prior to that, he held positions as Chief Marketing Officer at MicroSeismic Inc. and Chief Marketing Officer at Seismic Micro-Technology (SMT). He has also held numerous positions in the IT software industry.
Chakrabarti earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and a master’s in engineering logistics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
