Julie Kaye Hoagland — Chief People Officer and Senior Vice President at A. H. Belo

Ms. Julie Kaye Hoagland has been the Chief People Officer and Senior Vice President of A. H. Belo Corporation since July 13, 2016. Prior to joining A. H. Belo, for four years, Ms. Hoagland served as the Head of People Services for DaVita Rx, a subsidiary of DaVita Healthcare Partners. Prior to that, Ms. Hoagland spent approximately 2 1/2 years at Atmos Energy as Vice President of Human Resources and Director of Employee and Organization Development. Prior to that, Ms. Hoagland served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Handango, Inc. since November 2006. She served as Vice President of Human Resources and Customer Satisfaction of Securus Technologies, Inc. Ms. Hoagland served as an Executive Director of Human Resources and Customer Satisfaction for Evercom Inc., a subsidiary of SECURUS, since August 1999. Ms. Hoagland has a rare combination of human resource and general business expertise with 16 years of HR generalist experience in employee engagement, people development, mergers and acquisitions, recruitment and selection, compensation, benefits, compliance and setting corporate strategy. She has particular experience in start-ups, growth and turnaround situations. Ms. Hoagland has spent the last six years of her career implementing human resources programs that foster and recognize innovation, teaming and hard work. Her career spans over 15 years in human resource management in manufacturing and telecom industries, including leadership positions at Thermo-Serv, Inc., and Guardian Automotive Trim, Inc. Ms. Hoagland has a Bachelor's degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the University of North Texas and is a certified PHR (Professional in Human Resources).
