Mr. Gary D. Phillips has been the Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President of A. Schulman, Inc. since December 14, 2016. Mr. Phillips has more than 25 years of experience in sales and telecommunications and joined Qwest in 2001. From 2012 until 2014, Phillips was an independent consultant, focusing primarily on sales team optimization and leadership development. He began his career as a radio communications representative with Motorola Corporation in 1983 He served as Vice President of business markets group - central region at Qwest Communications International Inc. since September 2008. He served as the Vice President and General Manager of Comcast Cable in West Palm Beach, Florida from 2014 to 2016. From 2001 to 2012, he held various roles of increasing responsibility with Centurylink and Qwest Communications ' where he ultimately served as the Vice President of Business Markets/Central Region. He took leadership roles with MCI Telecommunications Corp, eSpire Communications and Metromedia Fiber Network/AboveNet Communications. Mr. Phillips received a Bachelor of Arts in Managerial Economics from Marietta College.
