Andrea R. Newborn Esq. — Executive VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at ABM Industries

Ms. Andrea R. Newborn, Esq. has been Executive Vice President, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel of ABM Industries Incorporated since July 5, 2017. Ms. Newborn leads ABM's experienced legal organization and focuses on supporting the strategic and operational direction of ABM Industries, aligned to its 2020 Vision. She is responsible for all legal, compliance and governance affairs for ABM and works closely with all areas of the business as a member of the executive leadership team. She has more than thirty years of experience working in senior leadership roles that includes both public and privately held companies. She served as an Executive Vice President and General Counsel of TravelClick, Inc. Ms. Newborn was responsible for all legal affairs globally. She was responsible for advising the TravelClick on a broad range of legal issues, including but not limited to contracts, corporate transactions, intellectual property and employment. She served as Senior Vice President of The Reader's Digest Association, Inc. since August 2008 and as General Counsel since March 15, 2007. Ms. Newborn served as Secretary of Reader's Digest Association Inc. since July 2007. She served as General Counsel of RDA Holding Co. since March 15, 2007 and served as its Senior Vice President and Secretary. She served as Secretary of Reader's Digest partners for Sight Foundation. She served as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Trusted Media Brands, Inc. since 2000, July 2007 and March 15, 2007 respectively. She served as an Assistant General Counsel of Reader's Digest Association Inc. from 1998 to March 2007 and served as its Vice President and Associate General Counsel since 2000. Ms. Newborn joined Reader's Digest Association in 1991 as a Senior Attorney. She practiced corporate, securities and commercial law at two law firms in New York City. she provided counsel to RDA's businesses QSP, Books Are Fun and Taste of Home Entertaining. She serves as a Member of board of Reader's Digest Partners for Sight Foundation. Ms. Newborn is a graduate of Brown University and Columbia Law School.
