Mark Newsome — Senior VP & President of Technical Solutions at ABM Industries

Mr. Mark Newsome has been President of ABM Technical Solutions at ABM Franchising Group, LLC since July 17, 2017. Mr. Newsome has been Senior Vice President and President of Technical Solutions at ABM Industries Incorporated since June 07, 2017. Mr. Newsome has 30+ years of industry experience, which includes company-wide energy strategy, energy efficiency projects, technology enhancements and upgrades, data analysis and enterprise software deployments, energy management systems and performance based contracting. He joined ABM in 2012 as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions, where he developed, executed and supported the growth and collaboration of all business units within ABM's Technical Solutions Group. In 2015, he was promoted to Senior Vice President and began overseeing 11 of company-owned mechanical franchises, ABM Building Solutions and ABM Building Services. He served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Prenova, Inc. since 2004. In 2011, Prenova Inc. was sold and Mr. Newsome participated in the transition and integration of it over 12 months. Mr. Newsome led efforts to introduce Prenova's solutions to Fortune 500 organizations in the retail, commercial and industrial sectors. Prior to joining Prenova, he served at Honeywell, where he successfully led 60 to 80 person sales teams. He began his career at Honeywell in 1987, where he held significant positions in sales and sales management. He served as Director of Global Business Development for Logility, Inc., and was instrumental in creating new opportunities and channels to support the service expansion of the venture start-up technology company. Mr. Newsome received a BS degree from James Madison University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
