Mr. Todd S. Young has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. since August 22, 2016. Mr. Young served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer at Baxalta Incorporated. He served as Treasurer of Baxter International Inc. since September 2013 and served as its Corporate Vice President. Mr. Young served as Vice President of international finance for Baxter and also served as its corporate officer since September 2013. He joined Baxter International Inc in 2001 as corporate tax counsel and over the years assumed positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of international tax, Assistant Treasurer, Vice President of finance for Baxter International 's Asia Pacific region and Vice President of corporate planning and analysis. Mr. Young worked for over 14 years at Baxter holding. As finance leader for Baxter's international operations, he led a team of 900 finance members and helped drive business results and strategic decision making for the company's $8 billion international commercial operations. He worked as a tax attorney at Sidley & Austin. Mr. Young practiced as a tax attorney at a major law firm. Mr. Young earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Grinnell College and his J.D. from the University of Michigan School of Law.
