Johan G. Deblaere

Mr. Johan G. Deblaere, also known as Jo, has been the Chief Operating Officer of Accenture Plc since September 1, 2009 and has been its Chief Executive of Europe since January 2014. Mr. Deblaere has been Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive of Europe at Accenture Holdings plc (Alternate Name, Accenture SCA) since April 2015. He is responsible for leading Accenture's business operations globally, executing its business strategy and ensuring operational excellence company-wide. He also leads enterprise risk management for Accenture, working across to identify, assess and actively manage enterprise risks. He has been with Accenture for 30 years. From September 2006 to September 2009, Mr. Deblaere served as the Chief Operating Officer for Outsourcing of Accenture Plc. In this role, he was instrumental in driving operational excellence across Accenture's $9 billion outsourcing business and in leading its outsourcing industrialization agenda. From September 2005 to September 2006, he led Accenture plc's global network of business process outsourcing delivery centers. From September 2000 to September 2005, he had overall responsibility for work with public-sector clients in Western Europe. Earlier in his career, he worked with numerous clients in a variety of industries including automotive, metals, energy, chemicals, media and entertainment and public service. Mr. Deblaere holds a degree in Business Administration and Information Management from KU Leuven in Belgium.
