Social Impact
With great entertainment comes great responsibility. We understand this, which is why we prioritize giving back to the global community in order to create a better world for gamers and non-gamers alike.
The Endowment - Founded by our CEO, Bobby Kotick, the Call of Duty Endowment helps veterans find high-quality careers by supporting groups that prepare them for the job market and by raising awareness of the value vets bring to the civilian workplace. Since its inception in 2009, the Endowment has placed over 72,000 veterans in meaningful jobs against a goal of 100,000 placements by 2024. Along the way, the Endowment has been recognized with a host of awards for exceptional impact and transparency.
Veterans Day of Service - Each November, we hold our annual Veterans Day of Service when employees give their time to help those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom and liberty. Since launching in 2014, employees in the U.S., U.K., Canada and Australia have filled over 5,400 volunteer slots serving more than 135 volunteer sites. Prior volunteer projects have included writing letters for active duty service members, spending quality time with elderly veterans to thank them for their service and listen to their stories, landscaping, painting, furniture building, construction, and creating care packages.?
Responding to Community Need - We are living through unprecedented times, and we strive to be an interactive entertainment company that helps the global community. Our social and community response program includes a focus on advancing care for the world’s population, and we have started by channeling our energy and resources to advance research and therapeutics in the fight against COVID-19. And when our global communities need us in response to natural disasters, we are there, having supported relief efforts around the globe with organizations like Team Rubicon, which puts military veterans to work in the toughest disaster recovery situations.
