Executive Bio

Mr. Digby Horner has been the Senior Vice President - Engineering Technologies Group of Adobe Systems Incorporated since 2005. Mr. Horner drives and champions its engineering best practices for creating the highest quality products with the greatest operational efficiencies at Adobe. Mr. Horner's responsibilities include developing consistent and optimized user interfaces, localizing products for international markets, championing cross'functional technology initiatives, and managing the product lifecycle. He also plays a key management and senior technologist role in Adobe's global research and development centers, including Adobe Systems Inc.'s facilities in India and Japan, and manages its global sourcing strategy. Mr. Horner joined Adobe in October 1986 as a member of the technical staff. During the first several years of his career at Adobe, he contributed to a variety of its technologies and product lines ' including Adobe?? Postscript??, Adobe Illustrator?? software, fonts, and type technologies ' and was an early technical advocate for globalization issues. In 1998, he was promoted to run Adobe's Core Technologies Group. He is an active mentor for Women Unlimited, an organization that provides leadership development programs to Fortune 1000 companies. Mr. Horner holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Computer Science from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
