Mr. Michael K. Foliano, also known as Mike, has been Senior Vice President of Global Operations at ADTRAN, Inc. since 2006. Mr. Foliano served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary of ADTRAN Inc. since March 16, 2015 until November 2015. He served as Senior Vice President, Sales, Services and Supply Chain Operations of Somera Communications Inc. from 2005 to 2006 and Senior Vice President, Global Operations from 2004 to 2005. He is based at Somera Communications, Inc.'s Execution and Delivery Center in Dallas, Texas. He was responsible for Managing and scaling Somera Communications, Inc.'s capabilities in quality assurance, customer service, supply chain management, testing & repair portfolio and technical engineering to support the delivery of lifecycle management services. Prior to joining Somera Communications, Inc., He served as Vice President of Global Logistics & Customer Delivery Operations for Lucent Technologies, where he led global customer demand planning, global logistics operations and core customer delivery operations for a $9B annual business and was responsible for leadership and direction for a team of over 600 global professionals in supply chain management. Prior to this position, Mr. Foliano served as Vice President at the Lucent Technologies Brazil Global Provisioning Center from 1997 to 2000, where he was responsible for the start up and ongoing operations of manufacturing and distribution functions for telecommunications products in Brazil and for exportation throughout Latin America. He was Executive General Manager, Mobility Supply Chain of Lucent Technologies from 2001 to 2002 and served as Manufacturing Operations Plant Manager from 1995 to 1997. He has also held multiple management positions in engineering, information systems and operations at&T Network Systems. He was Stanford University Sloan Fellow from 2000 to 2001. He has a MS in Management from Stanford University and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Mr. Foliano holds a BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Ohio University.
