Mr. James L. Clough, also known as Jim, has been President of Foodservice at AdvancePierre Foods, Inc. since July 2013. Mr. Clough served as the Chief Commercial Officer at AdvancePierre Foods Holdings, Inc. since November 9, 2016 until June 7, 2017 and served as its President of Foodservice since July 2013 until June 7, 2017. Mr. Clough served as the President of Schwan's Food Service, Inc. at The Schwan Food Company, Inc. (formerly The Schwan Food Company, LLC) from June 2010 to July 2013. He is a tenured foodservice industry veteran with over 25 years experience holding senior level positions in sales, marketing and executive management. He is a part of winning teams selling national brands, private brands and proprietary products. Prior to Schwan, he worked at Fresh Start Bakeries, Bunge Foods Group, Heinz Foodservice and ConAgra Foods two of North America's largest packaged food companies. He has managed and grown many consumer and business to business brand equities such as The Max, La Francaise, Pennant, Healthy Choice and Hunt's. He worked in restaurants, sold to restaurants and assisted in marketing at the restaurant level. He has worked extensively developing business strategies for foodservice, in-store bakery, retail, club store and industrial channels. He serves as a Member of Board of Directors for Kwik Trip, Inc. and School Nutrition Foundation. He is also accredited by the School Nutrition Association as a School Nutrition Specialist. He served on the board of directors of the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association and the Global Child Nutrition Foundation. He also served on supplier advisory boards for NFRA, SFM, IFDA and DOT Foods. Mr. Clough received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from the University of Akron, Akron, OH and a Master's degree in Liberal Arts from Baker University, Baldwin City, KS.
