Michael Sims — Chief Financial Officer at AdvancePierre Foods

Mr. Michael B. Sims, also known as Mike, has been the Chief Financial Officer of AdvancePierre Foods, Inc. since February 2012. Mr. Sims served as the Chief Financial Officer of AdvancePierre Foods Holdings, Inc. since February 2012 until June 7, 2017. He served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of AdvancePierre Foods Holdings, Inc. since February 2012 until June 7, 2017 and served as its Vice President and also served as Secretary until August 1, 2016. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Chiquita Brands International Inc. from August 2009 to February 2012. Mr. Sims joined Chiquita in September 1988. He served as the Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer Europe at Chiquita Brands International from 2000 to 2006. In 2006, Mr. Sims returned to the United States and served as Vice President, Finance and Administration and Corporate Development. Since November 2007, Mr. Sims served as the Vice President, Treasurer and Corporate Development at Chiquita Brands International. Prior to joining Chiquita, Mr. Sims served as Manager, Financial Reporting with Staley Continental, Inc. in Rolling Meadows, Illinois (1988) and as Audit Manager with Arthur Young & Co., Chicago, Illinois from 1980 to 1988. He served in the audit department of Ernst & Young. He serves on the board of directors for the Dan Beard Council, Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Sims holds a Bachelor of Science (Accounting) from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and is a Certified Public Accountant.
