Mr. Richard J. Rubino, also known as Rich, CPA has been the Chief Financial Officer of Aerie Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since October 18, 2012 and serves as its and secretary. Mr. Rubino has over 30 years of financial, business and strategic planning experience and has extensive financial leadership and strategic planning experience in the healthcare industry. Mr. Rubino served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance of Medco Health Solutions, Inc. since March 15, 2008. Mr. Rubino served as Controller of Medco Health Solutions Inc. from June 1998 to March 15, 2008, Vice President since June 1998 and Chief Accounting Officer until March 15, 2008 and served as its Senior Vice President from April 2005 to March 2008. Mr. Rubino was responsible for all aspects of Finance, including strategic and financial planning, accounting, treasury, SEC reporting and investor relations. Earlier, Mr. Rubino served in various accounting and business alliance positions with International Business Machines (IBM) Corporation and was a Senior Auditor at Price Waterhouse & Co. Mr. Rubino is Treasurer and a Board Member of Northside Center for Child Development, a not-for-profit organization based in Harlem, New York. He is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Rubino has BS in Accounting from Manhattan College.
