Mr. Alan Cuellar Amrod has been Senior Vice President of Products and Marketing at Aerohive Networks, Inc. since July 2017. Mr. Amrod served as the Head of Products at Aerohive Networks, Inc from January 2017 to July 2017 and served as its Vice President of Worldwide Systems Engineering since December 2015 until January 2017. Mr. Amrod joined Aerohive from Cisco, where he served as senior director of global enterprise networking responsible for the wireless business. He served as Chief Marketing Officer of Xirrus, Inc. Mr. Amrod served as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Vice President of Education & Healthcare Sales of Xirrus, Inc. Mr. Amrod served as Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Xirrus, Inc. since December 2006. Mr. Amrod as Vice President of Marketing of Xirrus, Inc. since joining it in August 14, 2006. Prior thereto, Mr. Amrod served as Vice President of Marketing of Ixia since August 13, 2003. Mr. Amrod was instrumental in driving Ixia to a global leadership position in IP Performance Testing. He has over 20 years of experience in engineering, sales, service, marketing. Prior to Ixia, he served as Vice President for Enterprise Marketing of Alcatel (NYSE:ALA). At Alcatel, he marketing for the Enterprise business and was instrumental in the highly successful introduction of the IP Telephony platform to North America and began the next generation OmniSwitch to market globally. Earlier in his career, he worked at General Electric Medical Systems, where he was involved in the early development of Picture Archive Communications Systems (PACS), and was instrumental in the creation of the networking products and services business unit. Before his tenure with General Electric, he was a highly Awarded Criminal Intelligence Specialist with U.S. Coast Guard and also served a tour with U.S. Navy assigned to Special Operations for the Office of Chief of Naval Operations. Mr. Amrod holds a B.S. degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
