Mr. Joel William Abramson has been the Chief Financial Officer of Generation business at The AES Corporation(AES) since November 2011. Mr. Abramson joined AES in 1995 and served as its Vice President of Investor Relations from March 28, 2011 to November 2011 and its Vice President of Portfolio Management until March 28, 2011. His tenure AES includes seven years in business development in Asia, the US and Latin America. He also spearheaded AES Portfolio Management group, where he led a number of complex transactions for it over six years. He developed and executed AES's investor communications for key initiatives, such as the strategy of geographic concentration and the acquisition of Dayton Power & Light Company.
