Vineet Mohan — Senior Vice President of Global Engineering and Construction at AES Corporation

Mr. Vineet Mohan has been Senior Vice President of Global Engineering and Construction at The AES Corporation since March 2017. Mr. Mohan is responsible for delivering the projects on time and on budget to supply much needed power in the countries in which AES operates. He serves as the President at Leighton Construction India Pvt Limited. He served as the Vice President of Projects. His responsibilities included supporting project development efforts globally in the bid process, contractor selection and contracts for AES projects. He has a variety and depth of experiences in the power sector including business operations, project development, public-private partnership investments, EPC and construction, sales and commercial operations, services and quality. Prior to joining AES in July 2012, he held a number of leadership roles outside the AES including Managing Director of Project Development for Asia and Region General Manager for Energy Services at GE, President of Leighton India and Senior Executive at Larsen and Toubro Limited. He has served on various joint venture boards in GE and Leighton and serves as a Board Member of AES Gener. Mr. Mohan received his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from India Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and an MBA from Edinburg Business School in the UK.
