Hugh Peter Bartholomew Cutler — Executive VP & Head of Global Distribution at Affiliated Managers Group

Mr. Hugh Peter Bartholomew Cutler has been the Head of Global Distribution and Executive Vice President at Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. (AMG) since March 1, 2017. Mr. Cutler serves as the Head of Europe and Middle East at Legal & General Investment Management. He joined the Legal & General Investment Management in April 2009 and responsible for managing client relationships and new business proposition in Europe and the Gulf. He has 20 years of sales and distribution leadership experience in the investment management industry across a broad range of strategies, client types and geographies. He began his career as a Consultant and Actuary at Towers Perrin. He joined AMG from Och-Ziff Capital Management Group LLC, where he served since 2014 as Managing Director and set the business and product strategy for Europe and led all client-facing activities for the region. He served as a Co-Head of the Global Strategic Solutions group at Barclays Global Investors Ltd. He served as the Head of UK Strategic and Multinational Business at BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited. He joined the BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited in November 1997 and managed the team responsible for client relationships. Prior to joining BlackRock, he spent three years at Towers Perrin, where he advised companies on all aspects of managing pension schemes. He has been a Director of Lgim Global Macro Fund Public Limited Company and LGIM UK Smaller Companies Alpha Fund Plc since December 11, 2012. Mr. Cutler holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics with First Class Honors and French from Bristol University, having also studied in Bordeaux as part of his degree. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the United Kingdom in 1997.
