Executive Bio
Mr. David M. Billings, J.D., has been an Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Affiliated Managers Group Inc. since June 30, 2014 and has been its Secretary since June 2014. Mr. Billings is responsible for the Company's legal, regulatory, compliance and corporate governance functions. Prior to joining AMG in 2014, he was a Partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where he led the firm's investment funds practice in London, focusing principally on the representation of private investment funds and their sponsors. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1987. Mr. Billings earned his B.A. with High Honors in 1984 from the University of Virginia, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
