Mr. Robert Gregory Laing, also known as Greg, B.A., LL.B. has been a Senior Vice President of Legal of Agnico Eagle Mines Limited since December 14, 2006 and has been its Corporate Secretary and General Counsel since September 19, 2005. Mr. Laing served as a Corporate Secretary, General Counsel and Vice President of Legal at Contact Diamond Corp. He served as Vice President of Legal of GoldCorp. Inc., a parent company of Lexam Explorations Inc., from October 2003 to June 2005 and of CSA Management Enterprises Ltd. He served Vice President of Legal at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited from September 19, 2005 to December 14, 2006. Mr. Laing served as a Vice President, Legal of TVX Gold Inc. since 1995 and served as its General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Vice President from May 30, 2001 to January 2003. He joined GoldCorp. in 2003 after serving for over eight years as General Counsel to a mid-tier Canadian gold mining company with extensive international operations. Mr. Laing served for nine years as a corporate securities lawyer of two prominent Bay Street firms. During his tenure in the mining industry, he has dealt with a variety of complex financial transactions including acquisitions and divestitures, equity and project financing. Mr. Laing spent nine years in private practice as a corporate/securities lawyer. He had been an Independent Director of Andina Minerals, Inc. since 2005 until December 31st 2012. He served as an Independent Director of New Gold, Inc. since March 18, 2005. Mr. Laing holds a Bachelor of Arts and a law degree.
