Ivo Bols — President of Industrial Gases-Europe and Africa at Air Products and Chemicals

Mr. Ivo Bols has been President of Industrial Gases-Europe and Africa at Air Products & Chemicals Inc. since October 2014 and served as its Vice President and General Manager of Global Liquid Bulk, Generated Gases & Helium since July 2011. Mr. Bols served as Vice President of Northern Continent and Packaged Gases Europe division of Air Products Europe, Inc., a Subsidiary of Air Products & Chemicals Inc. since 2003. Mr. Bols focuses on the development of Air Products Europe, Inc.'s packaged gases businesses across the globe and giving regional leadership to Air Products Europe, Inc.'s merchant businesses. Mr. Bols joined Air Products in 1988 as a financial analyst and in 1990 became the European helium marketing manager. Mr. Bols moved to France in 1992 as district general manager and subsequently became regional sales manager, Packaged Gases-Air Products France, South. In 1995 he was appointed business development manager, before being named European marketing manager, General Industries, then European marketing manager, Fabrication Industries in 1996. In 1999 Mr. Bols moved to Germany as general manager, Merchant Gases Germany, before being named as general manager, Northern Continent and Packaged Gases. Mr. Bols received a degree as a bio-engineer in 1983 from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, followed by an M.B.A. in 1985, specialising in operations research, finance and marketing.
