Naji Skaf — VP and MD of Industrial Gases Business for the Middle East, Egypt & Turkey at Air Products and Chemicals

Mr. Naji Skaf has been Vice President and Managing Director of Industrial Gases Business In The Middle East, Egypt and Turkey at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. since September 27, 2017. Mr. Skaf is responsible for managing and growing Air Products' industrial gases operations and strategic partnerships in the region. Mr. Skaf served as a Partner of Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. since November 01, 2016. Mr. Skaf served as Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Cryo Holding C.S.C until February 11, 2016 and its Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Gulf Cryo's UAE subsidiary Arabian Gases. He was fundamental in leading Gulf Cryo's top line growth by implementing a number of major initiatives and improving bottom line results. He started his career at one of the largest industrial gases companies in the industry, where he held various positions in Houston, Paris and Cairo. His first role was based in Houston where he was in charge of analysing competitive information. He eventually joined the group's headquarters in Paris where he was a key member of the team developing the presence in the Middle East and subsequently, after taking part in the successful acquisition of five local companies, relocated to Cairo to be Egypt's Deputy General Manager before joining Gulf Cryo in 2004 as the General Manager of Arabian Gases. He has extensive leadership and management experience in the Chemical industry. Prior to joining Gulf Cryo, he spent seven years with Air Liquide, a leading company in gases, technologies and services for Industry and Health, where he held various positions in Houston, Paris and Cairo. He is fluent in Arabic, French and English. Mr. Skaf holds a B.Sc from McGill University in Montreal and an MBA from the University of Houston.
