Mr. Richard John Boocock has been President of Industrial Gases-Middle East, India, Egypt and Turkey at Air Products & Chemicals Inc since May 2015 and served as its Vice President of Products, Technology & Operational Excellence Industrial Gases since October 2014. Mr. Boocock served as Vice President of Global Operations at Air Products & Chemicals Inc. from April 30, 2012 to September 2014. He served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology at Air Products & Chemicals Inc. since June 2008. He served as Vice President, Tonnage Gases Europe, Middle East and EPI-Europe of Air Products Europe, Inc., a subsidiary of Air Products & Chemicals Inc. since 2004 until June 2008. He served as Vice President of Middle East Operations at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. until June 2016. He joined Air Products in 1982 as part of its Career Development Programme, undertaking assignments in research and development and engineering. He moved into the sale of equipment business, selling hydrocarbon processing facilities to international oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical companies in 1990. He later moved into a business management role for sale of equipment, comprising air separation technology and hydrocarbon processing technology, before he continued to broaden his commercial experience in a move to lead the European Electronics Division from 1995 to 2000. In 2000, he changed paths and moved to head the European arm of the global information technology function. In 2001, he was asked to undertake an assignment at Air Products' corporate headquarters in the U.S. as global programme lead for the implementation of SAP into Air Products worldwide. He serves as a Director at INOX Air Products Private Limited. He is a Member of the Institute of Chemicals Engineers. Mr. Boocock graduated from Birmingham University in 1982 with Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in chemical engineering and received an MBA from Henley Management College.
