Dr. Bruce Kutinsky, Pharm.D. has been Chief Operating Officer of Akorn, Inc since September 2012. Dr. Kutinsky served as Chief Operating Officer of US Operations at Akorn, Inc. since September 1, 2012. Dr. Kutinsky served as President of Consumer Health Division at Akorn, Inc. since May 2011. Dr. Kutinsky served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Akorn from 2009 to May 2011. Dr. Kutinsky joined Option Care Inc. in 1990. Prior to this, he was the Owner and President at one of Option Care Inc.'s offices in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Kutinsky was the Vice President of Strategic Solutions for Walgreens. When Option Care Inc. purchased the office in 1997, Mr. Kutinsky joined Option Care Inc. as an Area Vice President. In 1998 he was promoted to Vice President of Operations for Option Care Enterprises, Inc. (OCE) and in 2000 was promoted to Senior Vice President of OCE. In June 2001, Mr. Kutinsky was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. As of October 2002, he took on the role of Executive Vice President, Specialty Pharmacy, with responsibility for growing its specialty pharmacy business. Mr. Kutinsky has a doctor of pharmacy degree from University of Michigan and is a registered pharmacist in the state of Michigan.
