Madhur Deep — Head of Strategy - India at Alibaba Group Holding Limited

Mr. Madhur Deep has been Senior Vice President - Strategy & Investments - Alibaba.com of Alibaba Group since 2016. Mr. Deep has been Head of Strategy - India at Alibaba Group Holding Limited since 2017 and served as its Senior Vice President - India since September 2016 until 2017. In his role, he take care of strategy and investment team in India at Alibaba. Prior to this appointment, he worked for McKinsey & Company as its Senior Engagement Manager. He has also worked with Deloitte, Goldman Sachs (Private Equity Division), and ITC Limited. He served as Senior Engagement Manager of McKinsey & Company from 2011 to 2016. He served as Senior Consultant (Strategy & Operations) of Deloitte from 2009 to 2011. He served as Private Equity Analyst of Goldman Sachs (Private Equity Division) from 2008 to 2008. He served as an Assistant Manager of ITC Limited from 2005 to 2007. He holds Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), in Finance & Strategy from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore from 2007 to 2009; Masters, Business from HEC Paris and Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
