Xiaofeng Shao — Senior VP & Director of Office - the Chairman at Alibaba Group Holding Limited

Mr. Xiaofeng Shao, also known as Polo, serves as an Advisor at Vision Knight Capital. Mr. Shao serves as Senior Vice President and Director for Office of the Chairman at Alibaba Group Holding Limited. He served as Chief Risk Officer at Alibaba Group Holding Limited since June 2012. He was responsible for driving, building and enhancing Alibaba Group Holding's risk management system to ensure sustainable, healthy and effective organizational development. He served as Group Secretary of Alibaba Group Holding Limited and facilitated strategic collaboration among different businesses under Alibaba Group. He served as the General Manager of China Business Unit at Alibaba.com Limited from August 2010 to June 16, 2011. He joined Alibaba Group in 2005. His experience with multiple Alibaba Group companies including Taobao and Alipay and his expertise in e-commerce, online transactions and payment, risk management and security. He joined Alibaba Group in March 2005 as director of the network security department, building a security management system and a team of network security professionals for Alibaba.com, Taobao and Alipay from scratch. In February 2007, he was appointed as vice president of Taobao, responsible for Taobao's strategic development planning, overall marketing and business modeling. Mr. Shao has extensive experience in network security, e-commerce, online transaction and payment. He served as the Chairman of Alibaba Pictures Group Limited since June 24, 2014 until November 21, 2016 and has been its Non Executive Director since June 16, 2014. He has been a Director of Beijing Enlight Media Co., Ltd. since September 1, 2015. Mr. Shao received an executive master's degree in business administration from China Europe International Business School.
