John Kiernan — CFO, Executive VP & Corporate Secretary at Alico Inc.

Mr. John E. Kiernan serves as Executive Vice President of Alico, Inc. Mr. Kiernan has been the Chief Financial Officer of Alico, Inc. since June 1, 2015. Mr. Kiernan serves as Corporate Secretary at Alico, Inc. and served as its Senior Vice President since June 1, 2015. Mr. Kiernan served as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Greenwich Associates, LLC. He leds the Greenwich Associates' Finance team as the CFO. Before joining Greenwich Associates, Mr. Kiernan worked as the Treasurer and Senior Vice President for Risk Management for Global Crossing until its $3B sale to Level 3 in 2011. In 2009, he joined Global Crossing. Mr. Kiernan held a variety of Corporate Development, Treasury and Investor Relations positions at Misys plc in New York and London from 2007 to 2009. He began his career as an Investment Banker at Bear Stearns, serving there for 11 years. He was also the Vice President of Investor Relations for Misys plc and a Director of Corporate Development for IBM. Earlier in his career, he spent 12 years as an investment banker and specialized in IPOs and M&A for technology companies during his tenure at Bear Stearns, where he earned the title of Managing Director. He served as Head of Technology Investment Banking Group at Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP. He is a Member of New York Bar and a Certified Treasury Professional. He is affiliated with Association for Financial Professionals; New York State Bar Association; American Bar Association; Catholic Charities Community Services, Archdiocese of N.Y.; and Westchester-Putnam Council BSA Executive Board. Mr. Kiernan earned a BA in Finance and History summa cum laude from Saint Vincent College, an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia, School of Law.
