Douglas Kopp — Senior Vice President of Operations and President of Interstate Power & Light Company at Alliant Energy Corporation

Mr. Douglas R. Kopp, also known as Doug, has been the President of Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL) since April 1, 2014. Mr. Kopp has been Senior Vice President of Operations at Alliant Energy Corporation since March 1, 2014 and served as its Vice President of Environmental Affairs since 2013. He has been a Senior Vice President of Wisconsin Power and Light Company since March 01, 2015. He served as Senior Vice President Interstate Power and Light Company since March 1, 2014 until April 1, 2014. Mr. Kopp served as Plant Manager for three Iowa generating stations, Director of Energy Pricing & Economic Analysis, Manager of Customer Service Centers & Programs, Manager of Service Quality & Measurement, Manager of Customer Satisfaction of Alliant Energy Corporation. He joined Alliant Energy in 1992 as an Economic Development Program Manager. Mr. Kopp served as Vice President-Environmental Affairs of IPL and WPL since 2013, Director of Environmental Affairs of AEC, IPL and WPL from 2011 to 2013, Plant Manager of IPL's Prairie Creek Generating Station in 2010, Plant Manager of IPL's Sutherland Generating Station from 2009 to 2010 and Plant Manager of IPL's Sixth Street Generating Station from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, He held positions at AEC, IPL and WPL in the areas of economic development, customer service and regulatory pricing. He serves as a Member of the board at the United Way of East Central Iowa. Mr. Kopp received a bachelor's degree in Industrial Administration in 1977 and Psychology degree from the University of Utah in 1981.
