Roger L. Davenport — President of Government Solutions at Allscripts Healthcare Solutions

Mr. Roger L. Davenport, also known as Vern, serves as Partner at NovaQuest Capital Management, L.L.C. He is part of private equity team at the firm. In this role, he was instrumental in the carve-out of the company from Intuit and returning its core portal solution to a market leadership position. Mr. Davenport also served as an Equity Partner at Medfusion, Inc. from December 17, 2013 to February 16, 2016 and served as its President. He served as an Executive Vice President and General Manager of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. since February 2007. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of MModal Inc. (alternate name: MedQuist Holdings Inc.) and MModal MQ Inc. since July 11, 2011. He serves as the Chairman of The Board and Chief Executive officer of MedQuist Inc. As Chairman and CEO, Mr. Davenport facilitated a transformation of the business through the acquisition of a speech technology company, rebranding the company M*Modal and leading the take private process that resulted in the sale of the business to One Equity Partners. He was a special Senior Strategic Advisor to the Chairman of Quintiles. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Multimodal Technologies, Inc. until June 4, 2013. He served as the President of Government Solutions at Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (Now, Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc.). He served as an Executive Vice President and General Manager of Misys plc since February 19, 2007. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Misys Healthcare Systems Inc. He served as a General Manager of the North American region and Executive Vice President for Kodak's Global Health Group (now Carestream Health). He served as a Regional Business General Manager of United States and Canada (US&C), and Vice President for Health Imaging of Eastman Kodak Company since December 15, 2003. Prior to joining Kodak in 2003, he worked at Siemens Medical Solutions, where he served as a Senior Vice President of solutions and marketing. Before that, he spent 11 years at IBM in sales, sales leadership and executive management positions in the healthcare and insurance industry market organizations. He served as an Executive Vice President and General Manager at Sunquest Information Systems Inc. Mr. Davenport currently serves on the East Carolina Board of Trustees as well as the WakeMed Health and Hospitals Board. He served as the Chairman of MModal Inc. and MModal MQ Inc. since July 11, 2011. He served as a Director at Medfusion, Inc. until February 16, 2016. He has been a Director of MedQuist Holdings Inc., MModal MQ Inc. and MModal Inc. since July 11, 2011. He has three decades of senior executive experience in building and transforming businesses in the healthcare IT market. He has a broad range of experience across the entire healthcare IT spectrum including radiology, modalities and software technology. Mr. Davenport holds an MBA degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C, where he also held a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.
