Mr. Philipp Schindler has been Senior Vice President & Chief Business Officer at Google Inc. since August 2015. Mr. Schindler served as the Vice President of Global Sales & Operations at Google Inc. until July 2015. Mr. Schindler served as the Global Head - California at Google Inc. since October 18, 2011. He served as Vice President of Germany, Switzerland, Austria & Scandinavia at Google Inc. and served as its Vice-President of Google Europe until October 18, 2011. Mr. Schindler joined Google in 2005 and oversees its operations in Northern and Central Europe, including Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Before to Google, Mr. Schindler served as a Senior Vice President at AOL Germany, running its marketing and sales activities and serving as a member of their management board for 6 years. He served as Head of marketing at CompuServe in Germany, a subsidiary of AOL Inc., and also worked as an e-commerce and marketing specialist at the global AOL headquarters in the US. Mr. Schindler served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at AOL Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG.
