George Laplante Jr. — CFO & Secretary at Ambarella

Mr. George W. Laplante, Jr., has been the Chief Financial Officer of Ambarella, Inc. since March 7, 2011 and serves as its Secretary. Mr. Laplante served as the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Santur Corporation from March 2007 to May 2009. From May 2009 to March 2011, he served as a Management Consultant and Interim Chief Financial Officer to several private technology companies. Mr. Laplante served as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of 2Wire Inc. from September 2000 to December 2006. Prior to joining 2Wire, Mr. Laplante served as President and Chief Financial Officer of London's Action Computer Supplies Holdings PLC, the third largest computer product reseller in the U.K. Mr. Laplante facilitated the development of financing and growth strategies and took London's Action Computer Supplies' public in 1996. Mr. Laplante is an industry veteran with over 25 years of financial leadership experience and his expertise in successfully linking accounting and finance to business operations has driven organizational development and earnings growth in several multi-million dollar firms. He has held executive positions at Arneson Marine, Inc., ACS Distribution, Inc., Molecular Computer and TeleVideo Systems Inc. He began his career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Company. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Laplante earned his M.B.A. in an Accountancy from Bowling Green State University and his B.A. in Economics from Southern Connecticut State College.
