David J. Anderson — Executive VP of Business Development & Director at Ameresco

Mr. David J. Anderson has been an Executive Vice President of Business Development at Ameresco, Inc. since 2000. As Chief Operating Officer of Citizens Conservation Services, Mr. Anderson has overall responsibility for the successful strategic development and implementation of Ameresco's vision as a premier energy solutions company. He directs Ameresco's business development efforts through a plan of significant organic growth as well as strategic acquisitions. His experience includes structuring and implementing both demand-side and supply-side energy solutions ranging from large performance contracts to the development, ownership and operation of traditional and renewable energy infrastructure assets. Prior to Ameresco, Mr. Anderson held the position of Senior Vice President at Noresco where he was key in the transformation of this regional energy services company into an industry leader. As the Vice President of Operations of Legeis Development Corporation, a subsidiary of Legeis Resources, Inc., he was responsible for financing the development and operations of alternate energy and cogeneration projects. Prior to Legeis, he held various key management positions with Tecogen, Combustion Engineering, Impell Corporation R.W Beck and Associates and Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation promoting, developing and financing utility-owned and independent power projects. He has been a Director of Ameresco, Inc. since 2000. He is a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and a senior member of the Association of Energy Engineers. Mr. Anderson received his B.S.E.E. from Northeastern University.
