John Granara III — CFO, Executive VP & Treasurer at Ameresco

Mr. John R. Granara, III, has been Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Ameresco, Inc. since May 1, 2015 and has been its Executive Vice President since February 2017. Mr. Granara served as Corporate Controller at Ameresco, Inc. since September 2013 until June 2014 and served as its Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President since September 2013 until May 2015. Mr. Granara served as the Chief Accounting Officer, Corporate Controller and Vice President of Finance at GT Advanced Technologies Inc. (Formerly GT Solar International, Inc.) from June 2011 to August 29, 2013. Mr. Granara has nearly 20 years of international finance experience in leadership and management positions with publicly-traded companies. Mr. Granara served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer at B456 Systems, Inc. (formerly, A123 systems Inc.) from January 14, 2011 to May 12, 2011 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer and Secretary until May 12, 2011. Mr. Granara served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at B456 Systems, Inc. (formerly, A123 systems Inc.) from January 2010 to May 12, 2011. At B456 Systems, he led a worldwide finance organization responsible for accounting, finance, treasury, planning, financial systems, business controls and external reporting, including staffing and finance activities in China and Korea. He served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller for Authorize.Net Holdings Inc. (formerly, Lightbridge, Inc.) from July 2005 to November 2007. Mr. Granara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy from Suffolk University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
