Mr. Joseph P. DeManche, P.E., has been Executive Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Ameresco, Inc. since 2002. Mr. DeManche is responsible for overseeing the U.S.-based Engineering and Operations group and the Energy Supply and Risk Management group. He has over 25 years of broad-based energy engineering experience including turnkey project development and management. With strong experience in both retrofit improvements and energy-conscious design, he has developed more than $300 million in energy upgrade programs and served as the Project Director for engineering, design, construction and operation services for hundreds of private sector clients. Mr. DeManche has significant integrated energy management experience for all energy services and energy consuming systems. He develops strategic programs incorporating procurement, productivity improvement, energy source substitution and asset monetization. Additionally, he has completed numerous comparative studies of alternative electric tariffs and special riders to identify lowest cost options for numerous large commercial and industrial sites. Prior to joining Ameresco, he was with DukeSolutions for five years, most as Executive Vice President in charge of all commercial operations. Mr. DeManche holds a B.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University.
