Ms. Nicole Allen Bulgarino has been Senior Vice President of Federal Solutions and General Manager of Federal Solutions at Ameresco, Inc. since May 01, 2015. Ms. Bulgarino served as Ameresco's Vice President and General Manager of Federal Solutions, with responsibility for the overall management of Ameresco's dedicated business unit serving Federal government customers. She lead and manage Ameresco's Federal Solutions organization and function as its representative for Federal energy efficiency services and renewable energy solutions. She has been instrumental in the development and operation of innovative energy efficiency projects and advanced energy systems delivering tremendous long-term value for Federal customers. Since joining Ameresco in June 2004, Ms. Bulgarino has overseen the implementation of over $600 million in Federal energy projects. A technology-savvy and proven business leader, Ms. Bulgarino led the project development for a 60 percent energy reduction deep energy retrofit for the U.S. General Services Administration [3] (GSA), and previously served as the lead engineer for the development, design and start-up of the U.S. DOE Savannah River Site [4] Biomass Cogeneration Facility the largest Federal biomass facility constructed under the largest renewable energy savings performance contract. As the General Manager for Ameresco's Federal Solutions group, she manages a team of 163 professionals specializing in business development, engineering, project development, construction, operations and maintenance and measurement and verification. Ms. Bulgarino is experienced in the design and development of demand side energy efficiency projects including deep energy retrofits as well as many forms of renewables. She has managed projects such as solar, biomass, combined heat and power (CHP), digester gas, distributed generation (DG), geothermal energy, landfill gas (LFG), micro-grids and energy storage solutions for Federal customers. Ms. Bulgarino is a licensed professional engineer and earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee and an Executive Management and Leadership Certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
