Executive Bio

Mr. Carl Cooper is a Member of President's Council on Diversity at the American Bar Association since October 2004. He was the Chief Diversity Officer at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart LLP in the position of Chief Diversity Officer. He serves as general counsel of the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh, is a graduate of Howard Law School and served as a teaching fellow at Harvard Law School and on the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Among his many other current responsibilities, Mr. Cooper sits on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and chairs the Allegheny County Bar Association's Committee on Opportunities for Minorities in the Legal Profession. He is also the Chairman of Board of Governors of the The River Club since June 2005.
