Mr. David K. Stewart serves as Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Ameriprise Certificate Co. (Formerly American Express Certificate Co.). Mr. Stewart serves as the Vice President of American Express Financial Corporation of Riversource Life Insurance Company and serves as its Principal Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President. Mr. Stewart serves as the Principal Accounting Officer of Ameriprise Financial Inc. and has been its Senior Vice President and Controller since September 2005. He serves as the Controller and Vice President of Riversource Life Insurance Company (alternate name IDS Life Insurance Co.) and American Enterprise Mva Account. He served as Vice President of Riversource Life Insurance Company. Mr. Stewart served as Controller and Vice President of American Enterprise Life Insurance Co, a wholly owned subsidiary of IDS Life Insurance Company (IDS Life). He served as Vice President of Ameriprise Financial Inc. (formerly American Express Financial Corporation), a holding company of IDS Life Insurance Co. since June 2002. He served as the Vice President and Controller of American Express Financial Corporation and its subsidiaries since June 2002. Prior thereto, Mr. Stewart held various management positions in accounting, financial reporting and treasury operations at Lutheran Brotherhood, now part of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, where he served as Vice President and Treasurer from 1997 to 2001.
