Mr. William Jerryl Williams also known as Bill, serves as Executive Vice President of Ameriprise Franchise Group at Ameriprise Financial, Inc. Mr. Williams leads the independent advisor business for Ameriprise Financial and is a Member of the Executive Leadership Team at Ameriprise Financial. He joined Ameriprise in 1989 as an Advisor and was named to the President's Advisory Council (PAC) in his first year with Ameriprise. In addition to building a successful practice, he has held a number of management roles within Ameriprise. He is a frequent speaker and contributor at industry events sharing insights on consumer and industry topics related to financial planning, leadership and strategic planning. He is also a spokesman for Ameriprise Financial, having appeared in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Financial Planning Magazine and Financial Times. He maintains his Minnesota Life and Health insurance licenses and FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 registrations. Mr. Williams is a Certified Financial Planner professional and a graduate of Bentley University with a BA in Finance.
