Daniel E. Brown — Executive Vice President of U.S. Onshore Operations at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation

Mr. Daniel E. Brown, also known as Danny, has been Executive Vice President of U.S. Onshore Operations at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation since October 4, 2017. Mr. Brown served as an Executive Vice President of International & Deepwater Operations at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation since May 10, 2017 until October 4, 2017. Mr. Brown served as Senior Vice President of International and Deepwater Operations at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation from August 2016 to May 10, 2017. He served as Vice President of Operations for Southern and Appalachia at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation since August 2013 until August 2016. He served as Vice President of Corporate Planning at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation since May 2013. Mr. Brown served as General Manager of Anadarko's Maverick Basin, overseeing the its Eagleford Shale development. Mr. Brown has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry, beginning his career in 1998 with Kerr-McGee Corporation. He has since held a variety of positions within Anadarko's deepwater Gulf of Mexico and U.S. onshore operations, including as General Manager of the Freestone/Chalk area (U.S. onshore), Business Advisor for Planning and Reserves Administration in the Gulf of Mexico and in engineering positions in both the U.S. onshore and the Gulf of Mexico. He has been a Director of Western Gas Holdings, LLC since November 9, 2017. He has been a Director of Western Gas Equity Holdings, LLC at Western Gas Equity Partners, LP since November 9, 2017. Mr. Brown is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and is also a member of the World Affairs Council. Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Rice University, where he was a Jones Scholar Award recipient.
