Mr. Grady L. Ables has been Senior Region Vice President of North Sea Operations, HSSE & Global Technical Services at Apache Corporation since July 31, 2017 and served as its Senior Region Vice President of North Sea and Canada since June 1, 2016 until July 31, 2017. Mr. Ables has nearly 30 years of industry experience in drilling and production operations, including 17 years of increasing responsibility at Total Fina Elf and its predecessor company, including assignments onshore North America as well as offshore and international. Mr. Ables served as President for Apache Canada and Region Vice President of Canada Region at Apache Corporation since June 2015. He served as Region Vice President of Central Region at Apache Corporation since July 2014. He joined Apache in 2007 as drilling manager for Khalda Petroleum Company and was promoted to operations manager before being named general manager. He served as General Manager, Khalda Petroleum Company, Apache's largest joint venture company in Egypt, since July 2013. He holds a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University.
